Since 1983, Pinedale Animal Hospital, formerly Animal Clinic of Pinedale, has served the animals and people of Pinedale and the greater Sublette County community. Founded by Dr. Brent Dean, the practice was established to provide comprehensive veterinary care for the companion animals, horses, and other animals that are an integral part of life in western Wyoming.

As the practice grew, new veterinarians brought additional experience and areas of expertise to the team. Dr. Tina Gehlhausen joined the practice in 2008, with particular interests in equine medicine and veterinary acupuncture. Dr. Bo Williamson joined in 2020, bringing previous veterinary practice experience and a strong commitment to science-based medicine and community service. In 2024, Dr. Kelly Jones joined the practice after relocating from Georgia, with professional interests in nutrition, dentistry, and surgery. Dr. Trish Brannan joined the hospital in 2026, expanding the range of care available to patients through natural and integrative approaches designed to complement traditional veterinary medicine and support overall health and well-being.

Throughout its more than four decades of service, the practice has continued to grow and evolve alongside the community while maintaining its commitment to high-quality veterinary medicine, client education, compassionate care, and strong relationships with the people and animals it serves.

In December 2025, the practice entered an important new chapter in its history, transitioning from Animal Clinic of Pinedale to Pinedale Animal Hospital under new ownership of Dr. Kelly Jones, Bobbi Morgan and Amy Guthrie, as well as moving to its new facility at 1805 W. Pine Street in Pinedale. The new name and expanded hospital reflect both the growth of the practice and its commitment to the future of veterinary medicine in the region. While much has changed since 1983, the purpose at the heart of the practice remains the same: to provide knowledgeable, compassionate veterinary care to the animals and people of western Wyoming while building upon a legacy of service that has spanned generations.
